PUAN JAMIAH BINTI ABDUL HAMID
Puan Jamiah Binti Abdul Hamid joined Permodalan Nasional Berhad in 1982 and had served in various capacities until the current position of Executive VP II, Corporate Finance, Communications and International Division. Her days at Pelangi Berhad started in year 2005 and currently also holds directorships at Pernec Corporation Berhad and Chemical Company of Malaysia Berhad.
An architect by training, Y. Bhg. Datuk Hj. A. Rahim Bin Abdullah is the Chairman of Tender Committee and a Member of Audit Committee. He started his career with JKR as an Architect in 1972 and retired in 1998 as the Deputy Director-General. He is currently the Property Development Consultant for Golden Hope Plantations Berhad since 1999 and has been an associate member of both New Zealand Institute of Architects and Malaysian Institute of Architecha since 1972 and 1974 respectively. He joined Pelangi Berhad as a director in 2005 and currently also serves Malaysia Building Society Berhad.
Y. Bhg. Datuk Prof. Zainuddin Bin Muhammad, a qualified Town & Country Planner is a Member of Tender Committee and Remuneration Committee in Pelangi Berhad. The 64 years old has held many posts in various states of Malaysia including Johor before being promoted to the post of Director General of the Malaysian Federal Department of Town & Country Planning from March 1993 to February 2001. He was named Planner of the Year in 1995 by the Malaysian Institute of Planners and conferred the title of Adjunct Professor of Planning by University Technology of Malaysia in 1996. He joined Pelangi Berhad in 2004 and currently also holds directorships at IOI Properties Bhd, UDA Holdings Bhd, TT Resources Berhad, Pembinaan Jayabumi (Sarawak) Bhd and PK Resources Bhd.
Y. Bhg. Dato Khairuddin Bin Ibrahim has served in capacities for 25 years from 1967 to 1992 when he was with the Malaysia Prime's Minister's Department and the Malaysian Embassy in Jakarta. He was also the Managing Director of Malaysia Airport Berhad from 1993 to 2000. He joined Pelangi Berhad in year 2000 and the Chairman of Remuneration Committee as well as a member of Audit Committee. He has brought his wealth of experience in Public Administration and Management to the company.
